Malformed characters in metadata, json decode problem

I am having an issue with malformed JSON. It seems that the Photoshop:URL field is stuffed with corrupt data and most JSON parsers throw an error.
Can I email you the Json and the source file as it is copyrighted material I do not want public?

Sure. I can take a look at it on Tuesday after the long weekend here. My email is phil at owl.phy.queensu.ca
