Does Exiftool change underlying MTS data?
« on: February 18, 2019, 05:54:18 PM »
This might be a silly question, but I wanted to ask. Does the FAQ statement (link below) on image quality also apply to MTS, MP4, and MOV files? Is the process essentially "lossless"?

MTS files have no metadata so ExifTool doesn't write them.  But rewriting MOV/MP4 is lossless.
